12-11-10   Saturday  Day +45

Status:   Had a good night’s sleep and woke up feeling good.  Had my usual breakfast of meds and prosciutto and melon.  Just the right combination of saltiness and fat, sweetness and moistness.

Events:  A quiet Saturday at IPOP.  Counts still continue upward.  Scheduled to have a lumbar puncture with chemotherapy on Monday, standard protocol.  Not one of things I look forward to.

Comments:   Looking forward to a quiet rest of the weekend.

B-guess I didn’t realize that you’d continue with chemo… sorry, hope it’s minimally invasive…..what’s the protocol on that for the coming year… or is it for the 100 days.. and are you on immunosuppressants>and is that for-ever? like organ transplants or what?

You are so brave. If I had to look forward to an LP tomorrow I think I would have to have nitrous. I think they just don’t use enough nitrous in clinical care these days.
    We are rooting for you.
